Chinatown

Chinatown along South Wentworth Avenue between Cermak Road and West 26th Street houses over one-third of Chicago's Chinese population. The neighborhood developed around 1912 when residents moved south from earlier Chinese enclaves in the Loop area that dated to the 19th century.
