Lincoln Brunch Fest Returns to Lakeview This Saturday with Local Favorites
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Lake View ·
Brunch lovers in Lake View have a delicious weekend ahead as the 2nd annual Lincoln Brunch Fest returns this Saturday, October 11. The popular event runs from 10 AM to 2 PM along Lincoln Avenue from Diversey to Wellington, featuring some of the neighborhood's most beloved breakfast and brunch spots.
Meanwhile, Le Sud Mediterranean Kitchen is celebrating its seventh anniversary in Roscoe Village with a special "Cassoulet de Toulouse" dinner on Tuesday, October 21. The elegant five-course meal will pay homage to the cuisine of Toulouse, France's Occitanie region, with dishes including black truffle gougeres, Lyonnaise salad, cassoulet, fromage, and profiteroles, all paired with select wines and a housemade limoncello spritz. Reservations for the $89 per person event can be made at LeSudChicago.com.
For families, the neighborhood's favorite fall event is also returning soon. Residents can look forward to trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch, crafts, inflatables, live music, photo opportunities, and more. Adults can enjoy craft beer from Corridor Brewery and wines from Galleria Liquors while exploring Southport Avenue. Looking for more ways to support our local community? Mark your calendar for the upcoming Shop Local initiative where participating Lakeview & Roscoe Village businesses will donate 15% of purchases to the school of your choice. It's a perfect opportunity to shop local, give back, and make an impact!
