Lincoln Park Welcomes Luxury Retail Renaissance with New SpaDerma Flagship and Catbird Jewelry

Lincoln Park residents have a new reason to celebrate as SpaDerma, the Chicago-based medical spa founded in the neighborhood nearly 25 years ago, has opened an impressive new flagship location at 2001 N. Clybourn Ave. The 4,500-square-foot space represents the company's most advanced site to date, featuring soundproof treatment rooms, upgraded equipment, and exclusive services like Halo laser treatments. The new location, which opened April 14, replaces SpaDerma's longtime Armitage Avenue spot.

The neighborhood's retail corridor has seen another exciting addition with Brooklyn-based jewelry brand Catbird opening its first Midwest location at 904 W. Armitage Ave. The Lincoln Park store captures elements of the original Brooklyn shop while embracing the neighborhood's warmth. "It's a block with such a great neighborhood feel," noted Sriya Karumanchi, Catbird's vice president of Marketing. The beloved jewelry brand is introducing its unique blend of craftsmanship and personalized service to eager Chicago shoppers.

Both businesses highlight Lincoln Park's continuing appeal as a premier retail destination. "When we pull data on our customers, it always leads back to what Lincoln Park embodies," shared Charles Gelman of SpaDerma. "It's always felt like home to us." Meanwhile, Catbird brings its popular "Forever Bracelet" concept to Chicago, a permanent jewelry service that has attracted over 150,000 customers nationwide. Lincoln Park residents can now experience group "zapping" events and custom necklace appointments where customers design charm necklaces with gemstones and signature chains laser-welded together in-store.
