By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Loop ·

The West Loop's vibrant dining scene welcomes its newest star this month as Kama, an acclaimed contemporary Indian restaurant, opens its third location at 812 W. Randolph Street. Founded by Vikram and Agnes Singh, the restaurant opened its doors on September 25th, bringing an immersive dining experience to the neighborhood with bold signature dishes like lamb chop masala, paneer ravioli, tamarind short ribs, and tandoori Chilean sea bass.

Beverage director Agnes Singh has crafted an extraordinary cocktail program featuring handcrafted libations made with over 20 different ingredients, including house-made infusions and innovative spice blends. Standout drinks include the Smoked Silk Road with Mezcal, cardamom, cloves and a charred orange peel, and the Purple Rain, made with Japanese Butterfly gin, lemongrass, lavender, grapefruit tonic and Campari foam. Meanwhile, just steps away, the historic building at 1032 W. Fulton Market is undergoing a $4.1 million rehabilitation, supported by a recently proposed Cook County Class L property tax incentive. The landmark building will soon house Senator International Property LLC's furniture showroom, continuing the neighborhood's blend of commercial innovation and historic preservation.

With the holiday season approaching, Kama's stunning ambiance and unique culinary offerings make it an ideal destination for celebrations. Residents can make reservations now to experience this culinary gem before tables become scarce. The restaurant joins several exciting new businesses transforming the West Loop into one of Chicago's most dynamic dining destinations.
