Athenaeum Center to Host 'Chicago's Quantum Future' Showcase in Lake View This Friday

Lake View's historic Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture will host a significant event highlighting Chicago's growing role in quantum science this Friday, October 4. The 'Chicago's Quantum Future' showcase brings together leaders from the Chicago Quantum Exchange, IBM, PsiQuantum, and other innovators to discuss the city's emergence as a quantum research and technology hub.

The half-day program is part of the Center's broader 'Entangled Beauty: Conversations on Quantum Science' series running through November and features presentations from organizations investing in quantum science R&D. Chicago is already a leader in quantum innovation through the work of the University of Chicago, Argonne National Laboratory, and Fermilab. Following the presentations and discussions, attendees will have the opportunity for further conversations with presenters over wine and hors d'oeuvres.
