By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Lake View ·
Lake View residents looking for some Halloween fun this weekend can head to South Lakeview Park this Sunday, October 26, for a festive community celebration. The South Lakeview Park PAC will host their annual Halloween Party from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, featuring both a Pet Parade and Kids' Costume Parade for neighborhood families to showcase their creative costumes.
The event will also include a raffle benefitting Blue Park Renovations, with a suggested donation of $20 per family. This family-friendly gathering offers Lake View residents a chance to connect with neighbors while enjoying seasonal festivities ahead of Halloween. The timing complements other neighborhood Halloween events, including the popular Lakeview East Little Monsters Crawl also happening on October 26.
For families planning their Halloween week, the fun continues with the highly anticipated Trick or Treat on Southport happening Monday, October 27, from 4-7 PM. Southport Avenue from Roscoe to Grace will transform with family-friendly activities, including a pumpkin patch, crafts, photo opportunities, and trick-or-treating at local businesses. Lake View continues to demonstrate why it remains one of Chicago's most vibrant neighborhoods for community celebrations and family activities.
