Five Iron Golf Takes Swing at Bucktown with New Indoor Facility, Marking Fourth Chicago Location

Five Iron Golf, a global leader in indoor golf and entertainment, has recently expanded its Chicago presence by acquiring the indoor golf business Golf the Green in Bucktown. The location has been rebranded under the Five Iron name, making it the company's fourth Chicago venue, following successful locations in River North, The Loop, and Lincoln Park.

The Bucktown facility features nine Golfzon simulators powered by Unreal Engine 5, offering a visually immersive experience with moving swing plates that recreate real-world lies for authentic practice and play. The venue is already planning for Fall league play beginning October 6, maintaining the existing format unique to its Golfzon platform. Additionally, Chicago parents will have the opportunity to enroll their children in Junior Clinics starting in October, introducing kids to golf through structured after-school programs.
