By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Hyde Park ·

The Hyde Park Art Center will host its highly anticipated 2025 Gala, "Artists at the Center," on Saturday, November 15, bringing together art enthusiasts from across Chicago to celebrate two visionary women in the arts. This year's gala will honor acclaimed artist Amanda Williams and respected arts leader Esther Grimm, with festivities running from 5:30-8:30 p.m., followed by an after-party until 11:30 p.m.

The event promises to be one of Hyde Park's most creative social gatherings of the year, featuring interactive artist interventions that have become hallmarks of previous galas. Attendees can look forward to engaging with puppet shows, interdisciplinary performances, and workshops on windchimes and bookbinding. The after-party, hosted in partnership with Lumpen Radio, will further showcase the neighborhood's vibrant creative community.

Community members interested in supporting the Art Center's programs for Chicago artists can purchase gala tickets starting at $750, with an affordable $75 option available for the after-party. Funds raised during the evening will strengthen the Art Center's ability to serve as a hub for contemporary arts on Chicago's South Side, providing crucial support for local artists and programming throughout the year.
