Pilsen Arts & Community House Expands Cultural Footprint with New 'PACH 21' Location
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Pilsen ·
The Pilsen Arts & Community House (PACH) has expanded its community presence with a new satellite location called 'PACH 21,' located at 2141 W. 21st Street on the second floor of Giron Books. While the organization will maintain its main hub on 18th Street, this additional space is dedicated to hosting special projects and events, reflecting the organization's growth and need for more space to accommodate its evolving programming.
The expansion comes as PACH continues to serve as a vibrant cultural center in Pilsen, offering a diverse range of social, arts, and cultural events including musical performances, film screenings, and educational programming. Among their popular offerings is the Third Thursday Open Mic from 7-9pm, which welcomes everyone from first-timers to seasoned performers aged 16 and up in a safe, inclusive environment. PACH has become known for fostering connections between artists and art lovers through events like First Friday Art Walks, supporting emerging artists, and providing valuable resources for art education and appreciation while maintaining Pilsen's cultural authenticity.
Residents interested in exploring this expanded creative space can visit the main PACH location on 18th Street or check out the new PACH 21 satellite at Giron Books. For the latest on upcoming workshops, exhibitions, and community events, follow PACH on social media or sign up for their newsletter through their website.
