First Annual Hyde Park Art Walk Transforms 53rd Street into Gallery Experience This Weekend

Hyde Park residents will have a unique opportunity to experience local art in unexpected places this weekend as the neighborhood hosts its inaugural Hyde Park Art Walk. The two-day event, proudly sponsored by SOPHY Hotel, will showcase a curated collection of artwork displayed throughout businesses along 53rd Street and Harper Court on Friday, October 23rd, and Saturday, October 24th, from 6–9 p.m. each evening.

The innovative concept brings art directly to the community by transforming everyday spaces—from cozy bakeries to boutique shops—into temporary galleries that highlight local creativity. The event creates a walkable art experience that encourages residents to explore the neighborhood while supporting both local artists and businesses. A special exhibition will also be hosted at Hyde Park Bank on Friday evening as part of the festivities.
