Sol Space Wellness Studio Celebrates Grand Opening in Jefferson Park's 'Jeff West' Corridor

The Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce is set to host the grand opening celebration of Sol Space, a new wellness and community studio located in the heart of the growing 'Jeff West' corridor. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, November 18, at 4:00 p.m. at the studio's 5922 W. Lawrence Avenue location, with a variety of wellness demonstrations and community activities to follow.
Sol Space, co-owned by Jefferson Park residents Georgena Hurst (who also owns nearby Sunny Village Kids Cafe) and Jackie Bravo Vicere, offers yoga classes, coworking opportunities, and community workshops in a welcoming environment. "Our mission is to connect neighbors to neighbors in order to create greater community support, mutual understanding, and neighborhood identity," explains Vicere. The studio joins several other businesses that have recently opened along Lawrence Avenue between Austin and Major, including A Taste of the Philippines, Vito's Vault dinner theater, and Plot Twist Used Books, contributing to the area's growing vitality.
Community members are encouraged to attend the celebration, which will feature a yoga class demonstration, sound bath session, and opportunities to meet the owners and instructors. The studio plans to host regular community events, workshops, and even a free community yoga class.
