North Center Prepares for 'Shop Small Market' Event to Celebrate Local Businesses This Weekend

North Center residents are gearing up for a festive celebration of local commerce as the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce hosts its eagerly anticipated 'Shop Small Market' this Saturday, November 30th. The indoor market will transform 1909 W Byron St into a vibrant showcase of neighborhood talent, featuring everything from handcrafted skincare products and ceramics to fresh salsas and baked goods.
The family-friendly event will run from 12-4 PM and includes special appearances by Santa from 12-2:30 PM, with complimentary photos available to anyone who spends $25 at local businesses or market vendors. Visitors can also enjoy balloon animals by All About Fun Entertainment, grab refreshments from the Dulce de Leche Cafecito Food Truck, and experience live music throughout the day. Participating vendors include Mind Clay Body offering pottery and ornament painting, Ruckus Body Care Products with handmade soaps, and With Love Baked Goods serving delicious treats.
"Small Business Saturday is a perfect opportunity to discover the incredible talent within our own community while supporting the local economy," said a Northcenter Chamber representative.
