Plant Stand Collective Celebrates Permanent Home in Lakeview, Drawing Roscoe Village Plant Enthusiasts

The Plant Stand Collective has officially established its permanent home at 3247 N. Broadway in Lakeview, becoming a destination for plant lovers from neighboring Roscoe Village and beyond. What began as a temporary pop-up has blossomed into one of the area's most beloved plant shops, offering a unique combination of houseplants and locally crafted goods.

The shop stands out for its community-focused business model, partnering with Feeding People Through Plants to donate a portion of sales to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Owner Maria Guasso regularly highlights Latinx and local makers, while offering specialized services including in-home consultations, repotting, and even plant-sitting for when neighbors travel. The store features a weekly "Plant of the Week" with special discounts, currently showcasing the Philodendron White Princess. Roscoe Village residents can visit Tuesday through Thursday from noon to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
