CAVA Mediterranean Restaurant Completes Willis Tower Opening, Enhancing West Loop Dining Scene

West Loop's dining scene received another boost this month with the official grand opening of CAVA at Willis Tower, marking the Mediterranean fast-casual chain's seventh Chicago-area location and first in the Loop district. The popular restaurant now occupies a prominent 3,156-square-foot space at the main entrance on Jackson Boulevard, serving up its signature build-your-own Mediterranean bowls and pitas featuring fresh ingredients and bold flavors.

CAVA joins the growing collection of eateries at Catalog, the dining, retail, and entertainment complex at the base of the iconic skyscraper. The restaurant's arrival comes amid a positive trend for the West Loop area, which currently shows activity levels at 69% compared to pre-pandemic figures, up from last year's 64%, outperforming many other downtown submarkets. "We're seeing a lot of positive momentum year-over-year," noted Anthony Zoccola, market intelligence analyst at Avison Young, highlighting the neighborhood's continued growth trajectory.

West Loop residents and downtown workers alike are encouraged to experience CAVA's fresh Mediterranean offerings as part of the area's evolving culinary landscape.
