Edgewater Launches Inclusive Community Music Jam for Musicians of All Levels

Edgewater residents of all musical abilities will have a new opportunity to connect through the arts as the Edgewater Community Music Jam launches on Saturday, November 22, from 1:00-2:00pm at the Edgewater Branch Library. The inclusive program welcomes musicians of all levels who play acoustic instruments, as well as singers and music enthusiasts who simply want to listen and enjoy.
The hour-long sessions will include group playing, solo performances, and social time, creating a welcoming environment for community members to share their musical talents. Registration is recommended but not required, with 20 spots still available for the inaugural session. The program is offered in partnership with Edgewater Village Chicago, highlighting the neighborhood's continued commitment to creating inclusive community spaces where residents can connect through shared interests.
Musical participants and enthusiastic listeners can register on the Chicago Public Library website to secure a spot at this community-building event. The Edgewater Branch Library continues to serve as a vibrant hub for neighborhood activities with additional upcoming events including the Memory Café and Season's Greetings Card Giving Program.
