Albany Park's 'Bon APpetit' Restaurant Crawl Returns this May for Third Annual Celebration of Culinary Diversity

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Albany Park ·

Albany Park residents can look forward to a delicious celebration of the neighborhood's incredible culinary diversity this spring with the return of the popular Bon APpetit restaurant crawl. The cleverly-named event (AP being the acronym for Albany Park) will mark its third year, allowing community members to sample distinctive cuisines from across the globe without leaving their neighborhood.

Last year's event featured 20 local establishments participating in the one-night celebration hosted by the Albany Park Chamber of Commerce and North River Commission. This year's crawl is scheduled to take place in May, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to experience firsthand why Albany Park is often called "Chicago's Gateway to the World." The neighborhood's remarkable ethnic diversity is reflected in its restaurant scene, where Middle Eastern bakeries, Swedish restaurants, and Spanish bodegas coexist in one of Chicago's most multicultural communities.

Community members interested in participating can find more information on the Chamber of Commerce website at www.albanyparkchamber.org. The event represents a perfect opportunity to discover new favorite dining spots while connecting with neighbors and celebrating the cultural richness that makes Albany Park one of Chicago's most vibrant and welcoming neighborhoods.
