Construction Begins on Pita Inn: First Chicago Location Coming to Portage Park's Six Corners

This development marks a historic milestone as it will be Pita Inn's first Chicago location, with the Mediterranean-style restaurant currently operating five suburban establishments in Skokie, Wheeling, Glenview, Mundelein and Naperville.

The project, led by Novak Construction—the same developer behind the 6 Corners Lofts luxury apartment complex—will feature three standalone buildings housing the restaurant, a Burlington department store, and a Wells Fargo branch. The Pita Inn location will include an outdoor dining area with a connecting walkway to the bank, complemented by ample parking and landscaping.
