Peace Campus Announces 'Share The Love WinterFest' Coming to West Englewood in December

West Englewood residents will soon enjoy a new holiday tradition as the Peace Campus prepares for its annual 'Share The Love WinterFest' set to take place in early December. The community celebration will feature seasonal activities, wellness workshops, and family-friendly entertainment across the campus's five renovated homes at 6400 S. Honore Street.

The WinterFest is one of several staple campus events that partners are required to support and participate in, alongside other successful community gatherings like Greater Englewood Unity Day and Peace Fest. The Peace Campus, owned and operated by Imagine Englewood If, has become a vital community resource featuring five houses, two basketball courts, a community garden, and a nature play lot. Each property serves a distinct purpose: the Peace House offers free meals and job resources, the Imagination House hosts school programming and community events, the Inspiration House includes farm-based training, and the recently opened Healing House provides wellness services. The first floor of the Healing House will host cooking demonstrations during the festival, adding a nutritious dimension to the holiday celebration.
