Streeterville's iconic Navy Pier has once again transformed into Chicago's premier winter destination as Winter WonderFest opened its doors for the 2025 holiday season. Running from December 5 through January 4, this year's indoor extravaganza spans 170,000 square feet of Festival Hall with several exciting new features, including the addition of a motorcycle jump attraction and enhanced Winter Wonder Stage programming with daily live performances.
Visitors are greeted by showstopping holiday décor and seasonal displays, including a glittering forest of trees decorated with hundreds of ornaments. The festival offers dozens of activities under shimmering white lights, from the popular Ice-Skating Rink and Polar Extreme obstacle course to the Arctic Express Train and Alpine Slide, providing entertainment for all ages. Every ticket now includes a ride on the iconic Centennial Ferris Wheel, where guests can soar nearly 200 feet above the lakefront in enclosed gondolas that offer stunning skyline views while keeping warm and cozy—a vista that visitors won't soon forget.
