Albany Park's Northwest Side Farmers Market Announces Special Winter Holiday Edition for December

Albany Park residents have a reason to celebrate this holiday season as the Northwest Side Farmers Market organizers have announced a special winter edition taking place December 13 at the Independence Park Fieldhouse. The one-day indoor market will feature many of the same local vendors who participated in the regular seasonal market, offering winter produce, holiday gifts, handcrafted items, and festive treats.

The Northwest Side Farmers Market, which typically operates outdoors at 4626 N. Knox Avenue, has become a community staple during its regular season that runs on select Sundays from May through October. This special winter edition comes in response to community feedback requesting more year-round access to local goods. "We're excited to bring back many of our favorite vendors for this special holiday edition," explains market coordinator Sarah Chen. "It's a perfect opportunity for neighbors to shop locally while connecting with others in our community during the winter months."

Residents interested in attending the special winter market can visit the Independence Park Fieldhouse from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 13.
