Garfield Ridge Community Center Transforms for Winter Market Debut on December 7

Garfield Ridge residents will have a new opportunity to shop local and connect with neighbors as the Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch (GRNW) launches its inaugural Winter Market at the Community Center on Saturday, December 7. This festive indoor event follows the neighborhood's 10th Annual Tree Lighting celebration scheduled for December 6.

The Winter Market will feature local vendors offering unique holiday gifts, seasonal treats, and family-friendly activities from 10 AM to 3 PM. "We wanted to create a warm, welcoming space where neighbors can gather during the colder months," explains Maria Perez, GRNW volunteer coordinator. "The Winter Market builds on our successful summer events while providing community members an opportunity to support local businesses right in their neighborhood."

Like all GRNW-sponsored events, the Winter Market is free and open to all community members, made possible through donations from local sponsors including Ridge Funeral Home, Mike Riordan State Farm, and All Exterior Contractors. The market is expected to continue monthly through March. Residents interested in participating as vendors can find more information on the GRNW website or attend their next meeting at St. Faustina Ward Hall.
