Lincoln Square Pottery Studio Prepares for 23rd Annual Holiday Showcase in North Center

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/North Center ·

North Center residents looking for unique handcrafted gifts this holiday season will want to mark their calendars for Saturday, December 6, as Lincoln Square Pottery Studio-Learning Center hosts its 23rd Annual Holiday Showcase. The free, art-filled event will run from 1 to 6 p.m., featuring more than 40 talented ceramic artists displaying their creations for sale.

Shoppers can browse beautiful handmade pottery pieces with 100% of profits going directly back to supporting the artists' creative endeavors. The showcase exemplifies North Center's vibrant arts community, highlighting local talent in a neighborhood known for its creative spirit. Located at 4150 N. Lincoln Avenue, just two blocks north of Irving Park Road, the 2,000-square-foot nonprofit studio has been a cornerstone of the community's art scene since opening in 2003. The studio features fourteen wheel-throwing workstations and two high-fire electric kilns where students transform clay into finished pieces like mugs, vases, bowls, and plates.

This event arrives just in time for holiday shopping, offering a meaningful alternative to mass-produced gifts. North Center residents are encouraged to attend not just for shopping, but to experience the festive atmosphere that typically includes music and ceramic demonstrations. Those interested in exploring pottery further can also inquire about the studio's classes and workshops during the event, with new sessions beginning in January 2026.
