New Italian Steakhouse 'Dēliz' Set to Open in West Loop This December

West Loop's vibrant dining scene is about to welcome an exciting new addition with Dēliz, a neighborhood Italian steakhouse from restaurateur Steve Gogolab and chef-partner Jake Peterson. Set to open in early December, this highly anticipated restaurant concept will serve wood-fired cuisine crafted with seasonal, high-quality ingredients.

The new establishment joins a wave of culinary innovation sweeping through the neighborhood, as the West Loop continues to attract diverse dining concepts. According to the Chicago Loop Alliance, more than 30 new restaurants and eateries will have opened in the downtown area by the end of 2025. This growth reflects the positive momentum in the area, where activity levels have reached 69% compared to pre-pandemic figures, up from last year's 64%. "We're seeing a lot of positive momentum year-over-year," notes Anthony Zoccola, market intelligence analyst at Avison Young.

West Loop residents and visitors are encouraged to make reservations when Dēliz opens its doors next month. The restaurant will add another distinctive flavor to the neighborhood's already impressive culinary landscape, further cementing West Loop's reputation as Chicago's premier dining destination.
