Irving Park Joins Citywide Winter Trolley Tour for First December Art & Craft Circuit

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Irving Park ·

Irving Park will participate in Chicago's newest holiday tradition this December as the neighborhood becomes a featured stop on the city's expanded Winter Trolley Tour circuit. Starting December 6, decorated trolleys will connect Irving Park to neighboring communities, allowing visitors to explore local artisan shops, galleries and craft venues throughout the day.

The special trolley route, running weekends through December 20, will make designated stops at key Irving Park locations including the Artists Book House, Our Mutual City Coffee Co., and several independent retailers along Irving Park Road. "This trolley circuit offers a perfect opportunity to showcase our neighborhood's growing creative community," says Emily Chen of the Explore Irving Park Chicago business group. "Visitors can hop on and off the trolley to discover unique handmade gifts while enjoying seasonal refreshments at participating venues."

Neighbors interested in experiencing this festive community celebration can find route maps and participating businesses on the Explore Irving Park Chicago website. The free trolley service runs Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., creating a convenient way for holiday shoppers to discover Irving Park's unique businesses while connecting with Chicago's vibrant holiday atmosphere.
