Griffin Museum's 'Naughty or Nice' Event Offers Adults-Only Holiday Experience in Hyde Park

The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Hyde Park is hosting a special adults-only holiday event this Thursday, December 4, 2025. The 'Naughty or Nice' night gives grown-ups a chance to experience the museum's festive offerings without children in tow.

This event comes just two days before the neighborhood's beloved Hyde Park Holly-Day Celebration, which returns on Saturday, December 6. The Holly-Day festivities, sponsored by the University of Chicago, will transform the area with an ice sculpture stroll along 53rd Street, live reindeer with a sleigh for photos, and various holiday activities. Families can meet Soul Santa and Mrs. Claus at The Promontory, where they can also receive free holiday books from Brown Books & Paintbrushes.
