Mediterranean cuisine enthusiasts in the West Loop have been flocking to CAVA, which recently opened its doors at the iconic Willis Tower. The popular fast-casual chain's seventh Chicago-area location occupies a prominent 3,156-square-foot space at the main entrance on Jackson Boulevard, marking its first venture into Chicago's Loop district.

CAVA, a Mediterranean restaurant with more than 400 locations nationwide, opened its first Loop location at the main entrance of Catalog on Jackson Boulevard. The restaurant occupies 3,156 square feet, becoming part of the vibrant dining ecosystem at Willis Tower. This opening is part of a positive trend for the West Loop area, which continues to attract diverse dining concepts, with more than 30 new restaurants and eateries opening in the downtown area by the end of 2025. "We're seeing a lot of positive momentum year-over-year," noted Anthony Zoccola, market intelligence analyst at Avison Young.

West Loop residents and downtown workers are encouraged to experience CAVA's signature build-your-own Mediterranean bowls and pitas featuring fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The restaurant's arrival comes as the West Loop shows impressive growth, with activity levels reaching 69% compared to pre-pandemic figures, up from last year's 64%. This new addition reinforces the neighborhood's status as one of Chicago's most dynamic culinary destinations, giving community members another quality dining option to enjoy while supporting the continued revitalization of the area.
