New 'Craft & Clay' Pottery Studio Set to Open on Southport Avenue This December

Lake View's creative scene is expanding with the upcoming opening of 'Craft & Clay,' a new pottery studio joining the neighborhood this December. Located at 3215 N. Southport Avenue, the studio aims to provide a welcoming space for both beginners and experienced potters alike.

Studio founder Emma Rhodes, a ceramics artist with over 15 years of experience, envisions Craft & Clay as an inclusive teaching studio that builds on community growth and creativity. "We want to create a space where everyone from first-time potters to advanced makers can explore their creativity through clay," Rhodes explained. The studio will offer a variety of classes, workshops, and open studio hours to accommodate different schedules and skill levels, adding to Lake View's growing reputation as a hub for arts and crafts.
