By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Edgewater ·

Edgewater families with young children have a special treat in store as Storypalooza returns to the Edgewater Branch Library on Wednesday, December 10. The popular weekly program, running from 10:30-11:30am, invites children ages 2 to 5 and their caregivers to join Mr. Chris for an interactive experience featuring songs, rhymes, fingerplays, books, movement, and music, followed by open playtime.

The event is part of the library's extensive December programming, which also includes the fully-booked Knitting Class starting Thursday, December 11. For families looking to extend their holiday activities, the library will also host 'Cookies, Crafts and the Grinch' on December 16, where participants can create holiday cards and winter ornaments while enjoying seasonal refreshments. Residents interested in attending Storypalooza are encouraged to arrive early as the interactive format creates an engaging environment that has made it a neighborhood favorite. The Edgewater Branch Library continues to serve as a vibrant community hub where families can connect through shared literary experiences during the winter season.
