West Town Winterfest Returns with Expanded Jolly Trolley Tours for December 2025

West Town's beloved annual Winterfest celebration returns on December 20, 2025, with an expanded Jolly Trolley route showcasing the neighborhood's thriving small business community. This year's event features five festively decorated trolleys that will transport shoppers between the area's distinctive commercial corridors from noon until 8 p.m., offering guided tours highlighting independent retailers from Halsted to California and Grand to Division.

The family-friendly celebration, organized by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, will include special promotions at participating businesses, seasonal refreshments, and pop-up art installations at select locations along the route. "This year's Winterfest showcases West Town's unique character through our incredible locally-owned businesses," explained Chamber Director Maria Hernandez. "With the addition of our evening trolley hours, visitors can experience the neighborhood's holiday decorations and special evening events while completing their shopping."
