Jefferson Park residents can look forward to a tasty new twist on a beloved neighborhood tradition as the annual Jeff Fest arts and music festival will be rebranded as the "Chicago Italian Beef Fest at Jeff Fest" for 2026. The announcement comes as festival organizers seek to bring fresh energy to the community celebration that has been a summertime staple since 2001.

"We do this all the time. We look for something new to bring a fresh perspective to a neighborhood festival and to generate more excitement," explained Hank Zemola, president of Chicago Events, whose company has managed Jeff Fest for most of its existence. The festival, scheduled for July 31 to August 2, 2026, at Jefferson Memorial Park, will maintain its roots as a community celebration while embracing Chicago's iconic Italian beef sandwich culture. The Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Memorial Park Advisory Council, and Chicago Park District remain the festival's primary sponsors, with local organizations like Jefferson Park Forward participating on the planning committee.
