Roscoe Village's Holly Jolly Holiday Market Returns for Fifth Year This Weekend

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Roscoe Village ·

Roscoe Village residents seeking last-minute holiday gifts have a perfect local shopping opportunity this weekend as the 5th Annual Holly Jolly Holiday Market returns to North Center Town Square on Saturday, December 13. The festive community market, organized by the North Center Neighborhood Association (NCNA), will feature dozens of local artisans and vendors offering unique handcrafted goods and specialty items perfect for holiday gifting.

The event coincides with another neighborhood arts celebration as the Cornelia Arts Building hosts its December open house the same weekend. Located in one of Chicago's largest artist studio buildings—a 39-year-old former ice house on the North Side—the Cornelia event will welcome visitors to explore two floors featuring dozens of working artists including painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramic artists, printmakers, jewelers, and designers. Both events offer Roscoe Village residents the opportunity to support local creative talent while finding one-of-a-kind gifts during the final shopping weekend before Christmas. Families are encouraged to make a day of exploring both markets, which welcome visitors of all ages and showcase the neighborhood's vibrant arts community.
