The Garfield Ridge Neighborhood Watch, which continues its tradition of organizing accessible community events, has expanded the rink's offerings this season with the addition of the Kindl Mart, where local vendors sell handcrafted holiday gifts. Families have particularly enjoyed the festive atmosphere created by the decorated 3-foot Christmas trees sponsored by local businesses and organizations including St. Daniel the Prophet's Parent Club, Bobby G's, Danny's, European Chalet Banquets, and Credit Union 1. Some creative sponsors, like Danny's Pizza, even included QR codes on their trees offering special discounts to community members.
