By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Bucktown ·

Bucktown's dining scene is taking center stage as Chicago Restaurant Week 2026 approaches with a record-setting 500+ participating restaurants. Local favorite Dove's Luncheonette will return as a Restaurant Week loyalist, continuing its tradition of serving up beloved Tex-Mex cuisine during the citywide celebration.

The neighborhood is also seeing new additions to the Restaurant Week roster, including Deliz at 1840 W. North Ave. and an exciting Italian-inflected steakhouse that has revamped the former Etta space following its closure. The 19th annual culinary festival runs from January 23 through February 8, 2026, offering food enthusiasts specially curated prix fixe menus at accessible price points—$30 for brunch or lunch, and $45 or $60 for dinner.

"Chicago Restaurant Week champions the passion and vitality of our neighborhood restaurants," said Sam Toia, President and CEO of the Illinois Restaurant Association. "Celebrations like this provide diners with the perfect opportunity to explore every corner of our city. This initiative also helps restaurants grow their business during the first quarter of the year when they need it most." Bucktown residents are encouraged to make reservations early, as tables at participating restaurants typically fill up quickly for this beloved winter tradition.
