Cupid's Vintage & Artisan Fest Coming to Portage Park: Local Vendors Prepare for Valentine's Showcase
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Portage Park ·
Portage Park residents have a special treat to look forward to as Windy City Market prepares to bring the Cupid's Vintage & Artisan Fest to the neighborhood on February 7-8, 2026. This exciting weekend event will feature over 100 vintage dealers, artisan crafters, and food vendors each day, offering unique shopping opportunities for community members seeking one-of-a-kind gifts ahead of Valentine's Day.
The festival will showcase talented local artisans and unique vintage finds, continuing Portage Park's growing reputation as a destination for distinctive shopping experiences. Meanwhile, the Six Corners business district continues its revitalization with exciting developments including the upcoming Pita Inn restaurant at 4045 North Cicero Avenue—notably the Mediterranean chain's first Chicago location—alongside new Burlington and Wells Fargo locations at the former Sears Auto Center site.
Community members interested in these neighborhood developments can attend the next Portage Park Advisory Council meeting, typically held on the fourth Monday of odd-numbered months from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the fieldhouse. Additionally, residents can participate in the Chicago Park District's winter programs running from January 5 through March 15, with online registration having opened December 8, 2025.
