Roscoe Village Prepares to Launch Innovative Small Business Incubator This Spring

Roscoe Village entrepreneurs and small business enthusiasts will soon have an exciting new opportunity to showcase their talents with the Hodges Run development set to welcome its first tenants this spring. The innovative business incubator, located on Main Street, will feature 12 customizable pop-up spaces designed specifically for local entrepreneurs looking to launch or grow their ventures in a supportive community environment.

The development includes more than just retail space, creating a comprehensive small business ecosystem with planned amenities including a playscape, nature area, multi-use path, market space, and public restrooms. 'It's just a way to increase our retail space and give a chance to people who maybe won't take that next step in starting their own business,' explained Village Administrator Josef Kurlinkus, who emphasized how the project aims to nurture businesses that can eventually transition to permanent brick-and-mortar locations throughout the neighborhood.

This initiative reflects Roscoe Village's ongoing commitment to maintaining its reputation as 'The Village Within the City' while fostering economic growth through community-centered development.
