Flan's Glass Expands Creative Offerings in Bucktown with Popular Stained Glass Workshops for 2026

Bucktown's arts community is thriving as Flan's Glass, a popular stained glass studio at 2016 W. Armitage Avenue, announces expanded workshop offerings for early 2026. Owner Flannery Thompson, who committed to her artistic passion by quitting her day job last year to pursue stained glass full-time, has transformed the spacious Bucktown location into a vibrant creative hub since relocating from Avondale.
The studio has become a neighborhood hotspot, with Thompson's classes regularly selling out within minutes of being posted online on the first of each month. The expanded Bucktown space features a retail area selling wholesale glass pieces and supplies, custom artwork displayed in the large front windows, and a dedicated workshop area for classes and open studio time.
