Streeterville residents and visitors now have access to a groundbreaking entertainment experience with the opening of Illuminarium at Navy Pier. The high-tech attraction is among Navy Pier's newest additions alongside Flyover Chicago and other developments as part of the Pier's ongoing revitalization efforts.

The Illuminarium creates a multi-sensory experience that "activates all your senses through cinematic immersion, transporting you to the world's most extraordinary places and beyond." The innovative space uses high-resolution laser projection, 3D immersive audio, in-floor haptics, and scents to "place you in the middle of the story." Initial programming includes an experience called "Wild" that transports visitors to Africa, followed by "Spacewalk," which takes guests on a journey through our solar system.

The addition of Illuminarium strengthens Streeterville's position as one of Chicago's premier entertainment districts.
