A significant transformation is underway at 4920 W. Irving Park Road as Las Tablas Colombian Steakhouse owner Soraya Campos prepares to break ground on an ambitious mixed-use development project. The project will feature a four-story building that includes a reimagined space for the beloved restaurant alongside a new cultural center and 18 apartment units.
Designed by Aria Group Architects, the development will offer one and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 900 to 1,100 square feet, each featuring private balconies. The brick and masonry building will reach approximately 60 feet in height and represents a $9.5 million investment in the neighborhood. Construction is scheduled to begin this spring with the restaurant expected to open by the end of this year and the remainder of the structure completing in early 2026.
Irving Park residents can look forward to this development enhancing the neighborhood's cultural offerings while providing new housing options. The project demonstrates the community's ongoing commercial revitalization efforts, joining other recent investments along the Irving Park corridor. Community members interested in learning more about the development can attend the next local chamber meeting where updates will be shared about this exciting addition to the neighborhood.
