Lincoln Park Chamber Kicks Off 2026 Community Vision at WhirlyBall Event This Week

Lincoln Park residents and business leaders will gather this Thursday, February 5, for the highly anticipated annual 'Lincoln Park 2026' event at WhirlyBall on Webster Avenue. The morning gathering, organized by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, marks the neighborhood's first major community planning session of the year, bringing together stakeholders to discuss upcoming initiatives and development priorities.

The event arrives as the neighborhood prepares for significant commercial growth, including the upcoming opening of Schneider Deli's new Lincoln Park location at 1733 North Halsted Street. The popular Jewish deli, which has built a devoted following since launching in River North in 2023, will unveil its expanded 2,000-square-foot space featuring double the seating capacity and a full coffee program using locally-roasted Metropolis Coffee beans. While the original location's hand-sliced brisket and signature latkes will remain menu staples, the Lincoln Park outpost aims to become an all-day gathering spot when it opens its doors early this year.

Neighborhood residents interested in contributing to Lincoln Park's ongoing development vision or simply connecting with local business owners are encouraged to attend Thursday's WhirlyBall event.
