West Rogers Park Community Center Completes Major Expansion to Better Serve Neighborhood Needs
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Rogers Park ·
West Rogers Park residents now have access to significantly expanded community resources as a local facility has completed a major renovation project just in time for spring. The neighborhood center has quadrupled the size of its food pantry, doubled its community space, and created a dedicated area for its Intensive Day Program serving adults with mental health challenges.
The expansion represents one of the most significant investments in West Rogers Park's social service infrastructure in recent years, addressing growing community needs while creating more opportunities for neighborhood gatherings and support programs. The newly expanded food pantry is expected to serve hundreds more residents each month, while the enlarged community space will host educational workshops, cultural events, and neighborhood meetings.
"This expansion strengthens our ability to serve West Rogers Park residents when they need it most," said a facility representative. Community members interested in volunteering or accessing services can visit the center's newly renovated space or contact the Rogers Park Business Alliance at 773-508-5885 for more information. A community open house is planned for later this month to showcase the new facilities.
