Bucktown Welcomes 'The Strip Club' Photo Booth Parlor, Chicago's First Vintage Photo Booth Studio
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Bucktown ·
A unique photo booth parlor called The Strip Club has opened its doors in Bucktown at 1702 N. Damen Avenue, offering visitors a chance to experience the nostalgic joy of photo booths. The new business features 10 rare analog or digital photo booths with different formats and styles, each costing $7 per strip.
The Strip Club is owned by married couple Anthony and Andrea Vizzari, whose company A&A Studios has been providing photo booths to popular Chicago establishments like the Empty Bottle, Emporium, and Schubas Tavern for years. The Vizzaris hope their new Bucktown location will become a neighborhood favorite, particularly appealing to those too young to experience photo booths in bars and venues. Despite its playful name, the business is completely family-friendly, welcoming visitors of all ages and even pets. Entry to the studio is free, with no minimum purchase required, allowing customers to take just one photo or spend an hour trying every booth.
"There's a lot of people that are not 21 or aren't drinkers, or they can't get into the photo booth because they're in bars, but here, everybody's welcome," explains Anthony Vizzari. The couple chose this prime Bucktown location specifically to be accessible to younger generations discovering the joy of physical photographs in our digital age. Neighborhood residents are invited to visit and experience these unique booths, each offering a slightly different look and capturing authentic moments in time.
