Jefferson Park's favorite summer tradition just got a whole lot tastier. The annual Jeff Fest arts and music festival is being rebranded as the "Chicago Italian Beef Fest at Jeff Fest" for 2026 — a bold, flavor-forward reinvention that has neighborhood foodies buzzing with excitement.

Hank Zemola, president of Chicago Events, the company that has managed Jeff Fest for most of its run since the festival launched in 2001, says the team is always looking for "something new" to bring fresh energy to the beloved neighborhood event. This year, Italian beef takes center stage — giving attendees the chance to vote for their favorite beef sandwich while enjoying live music across two stages. The festival is slated for the weekend of July 31 through August 2 at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave., and is co-sponsored by the Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce, the Jefferson Memorial Park Advisory Council, and the Chicago Park District.
