West Fest Chicago 2026 Is Official: Mark Your Calendars for July's Biggest Neighborhood Block Party

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Town ·

Summer is still months away, but West Town already has its marquee warm-weather event locked in. West Fest Chicago — the neighborhood's beloved annual street festival — is officially returning July 17–19, 2026, and the West Town Chamber of Commerce is already gearing up for three days of food, music, local vendors, and community celebration.

Hosted in partnership with Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy, the festival will once again feature local restaurants, food trucks, West Town retail vendors, live entertainment, and a dedicated Kid Fest area complete with train rides, bounce houses, and pony rides for the little ones. Pet lovers won't be left out either — the fan-favorite Pet Fest, organized by Canine Crews, returns with a dog obstacle course, paw painting, and pet-focused vendors and demonstrations. With a suggested donation of just

0 at the gate, proceeds benefit the West Town Chamber of Commerce, local animal shelters, and Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy — making every dollar do double duty for the community.

West Fest is one of the signature events that cements West Town's identity as a neighborhood that knows how to celebrate itself. Whether you're a longtime local or a first-time visitor, this is the summer festival to put on your radar. Vendors, sponsors, and performers interested in participating can reach out through the West Town Chamber of Commerce at westtownchamber.org — and start spreading the word now so your neighbors can save the dates!
