Dine Out and Discover: North Center's Restaurants Shine During North Side Restaurant Week
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/North Center ·
North Center foodies, this weekend is your moment. North Side Restaurant Week is officially underway, and the neighborhood's dining scene is putting its best fork forward. Running from February 26 through March 8, 2026, the citywide culinary celebration gives residents the perfect excuse to explore the incredible variety of flavors right in their own backyard — at wallet-friendly fixed prices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Eleven North Center restaurants are rolling out the welcome mat this year, representing a remarkable range of cuisines. From the Middle Eastern flavors at Alfarsi Restaurant and the modern Indian flair at Basant Modern Indian, to the Japanese-inspired Ekiben, the El Salvadoran staples at Pupuseria el Centroamericano, and craft cocktails at Raizes Mexican Cocktail Bar, there's truly something for every palate. Rounding out the lineup are Amano Bistro, Bartleby's Homemade Ice Cream, Dulce de Leche Cafecito, Early Morning Delight, The Globe Pub, and Xurro — making it one of the most globally diverse restaurant weeks the neighborhood has seen.
The event is organized in part by the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce alongside chambers from Albany Park, Edgewater, Lincoln Square Ravenswood, and Rogers Park — a true North Side collaboration. Best of all, no tickets are required. Simply show up, dig in, and support your local favorites. Visit northsiderestaurantweek.org for full menus and participating locations, and don't miss your chance to try something new before the celebration wraps up on March 8th!
