From Fish Fry Fridays to Easter Egg Hunts: Roscoe Village's Spring Community Calendar Is Heating Up

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Roscoe Village ·

Spring is officially on the horizon in Roscoe Village, and the neighborhood's community calendar is proving that the 'Village Within the City' spirit never takes a day off. Neighbors have a full lineup of beloved seasonal gatherings to look forward to in the weeks ahead, anchored by a Lenten tradition that brings the community together around the dinner table.

On Friday, March 27, Saint Andrew School hosts its annual Lenten Fish Fry — a cherished neighborhood staple that draws families from across Roscoe Village and the surrounding area for a classic, community-minded meal. Then, just one week later on April 4, the fun continues with the Lakeview Easter Celebration, giving families a festive reason to get outside and enjoy the neighborhood as the season turns. And eco-minded neighbors can mark their calendars for April 18, when the Lakeview Earth Day Celebration brings residents together to honor and beautify the community they love. Adding to the excitement, the beloved Retro on Roscoe street festival has officially been announced for September 18–20, 2026 — promising another season of live music, classic car shows, vintage shopping, and old-school fun for all ages along Roscoe Street.

Whether you're a longtime resident or a newcomer to the neighborhood, there's no better time to get involved and experience everything Roscoe Village has to offer this spring. Check the full events calendar at lakeviewroscoevillage.org and plan your next Village outing!
