Jefferson Park's beloved annual summer festival is getting a mouthwatering makeover for 2026 — and it sounds absolutely delicious. The longtime neighborhood staple known as Jeff Fest is being rebranded as the "Chicago Italian Beef Fest at Jeff Fest," celebrating one of Chicago's most iconic culinary creations right in the heart of the Northwest Side.

According to Nadig Newspapers, Chicago Events president Hank Zemola — who has managed Jeff Fest for most of its run since the festival launched in 2001 — says the team is always looking for "something new" to bring fresh excitement to the neighborhood event. And what's more Chicago than an Italian beef sandwich? Fest-goers will have the chance to vote for their favorite beef sandwich, while two live music stages promise the same great entertainment Jeff Fest has always delivered. The festival is set for the weekend of July 31 through August 2 at Jefferson Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave., with support from the Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Memorial Park Advisory Council, and the Chicago Park District.
