Sip, Savor & See: Lincoln Park Uncorked Returns, Ox Bar & Hearth's Patio Opens Soon, and Theater Season Heats Up at Greenhouse
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Lincoln Park ·
Spring has fully arrived in Lincoln Park — and the neighborhood is celebrating in style. Mark your calendars for the 2026 Lincoln Park Uncorked: An Armitage–Halsted Wine Stroll, returning to the heart of the neighborhood with Wintrust Bank at 935 W. Armitage Ave. serving as the anchor gathering spot. The beloved annual event winds through one of Chicago's most walkable and charming retail corridors, letting neighbors toast the season at local boutiques and restaurants along the way — a perfect reason to explore everything the Armitage-Halsted strip has to offer.
Speaking of that strip: Ox Bar & Hearth at 1578 N. Clybourn Ave. — the hearth-fired gem that wowed diners when it opened inside a renovated 125-year-old space in summer 2025 — is gearing up to debut its outdoor patio this May. Chef John Asbaty's Midwestern-ingredient-driven small plates are already a neighborhood favorite, and al fresco dining promises to take the experience to the next level. Over on Halsted, Dicey's Pizza & Tavern, which opened at 2435 N. Halsted in February right next door to Parson's Chicken & Fish, continues to draw crowds with its tavern-style thin square-cut pies and frozen cocktails — cementing this block as one of Lincoln Park's most exciting dining destinations.
And if you're hungry for culture, the Greenhouse Theater Center at 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. is staging 'MARBLED,' opening April 16th, adding fresh theatrical energy to the neighborhood's already vibrant arts scene. Head to the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce website for wine stroll tickets, and follow Ox Bar & Hearth on social media for the patio opening announcement!
