West Fest Chicago Is Back This Summer — and It's Going to Be the Neighborhood Block Party of the Year

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Town ·

West Town's favorite summer tradition is officially locked in, and it's time to start counting down. West Fest Chicago has announced its return for July 17–19, 2026, set once again along Chicago Avenue with Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy serving as a key community benefactor and organizer alongside the West Town Chamber of Commerce.

The three-day festival is a true neighborhood celebration, bringing together local restaurants, food trucks, West Town retail vendors, corporate sponsors, and local artists all under one open-air roof. Families will find plenty to love, too — Kid Fest returns with train rides, bounce houses, pony rides, and a dedicated live entertainment stage just for younger attendees. Dog lovers can look forward to Pet Fest, organized by Canine Crews, which features a dog obstacle course, paw painting, pet retail booths, and canine demonstrations throughout the weekend. A suggested donation of just

0 gets you in, with all proceeds benefiting the West Town Chamber of Commerce, local animal shelters, and Talcott Fine Arts & Museum Academy.

With summer still a few months away, now is the perfect time for local vendors, artists, and community organizations to explore participation opportunities. Whether you're a neighbor planning your July calendar or a small business looking to connect with thousands of West Towners, West Fest is the can't-miss anchor of the neighborhood's summer season.
