Tacos, Beats & Good Deeds: Lincoln Park's Summer Calendar Is Absolutely Stacked
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Lincoln Park ·
Lincoln Park neighbors, your summer is about to get very full — and very fun. The neighborhood has a lineup of exciting upcoming events and community milestones that prove Lincoln Park isn't just Chicago's most beautiful neighborhood, it's one of its most vibrant.
First up, mark your calendars for the Taco & Tequila Fest, coming to Wrightwood Park at 2611 N. Cannon Dr. on June 26 and 27 — a perfect excuse to spend a weekend afternoon in one of Lincoln Park's most beloved green spaces. And just days later, on June 26, Lincoln Park Zoo hosts Zoo Fiesta, a family-friendly celebration of Latine cultures featuring live music, culinary delights, cultural performances, and animal chats spotlighting the biodiversity of Latin America. Then on June 19 and 20, the brand-new Lakeshore Arts & Music Festival debuts right in the neighborhood at Grove #8, bringing curated sets from global headliners and local artists across two stages, open-air dancing along Lake Michigan, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails — all for ages 18 and up.
Meanwhile, the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce recently honored two standout local businesses as its 2026 Neighborhood Champions: Range Chicago, the beloved seasonal restaurant that has donated a portion of sales to local nonprofits through monthly Community Nights since 2015, and Salon Edda. These honorees embody the generous, community-first spirit that makes Lincoln Park truly special. Come out, celebrate, and show your neighborhood some love this summer!
