Jefferson Park has a long history of giving old buildings a bold new purpose — and the neighborhood's next act of reinvention might be its most charming yet. A 120-year-old firehouse at 4841 N. Lipps Ave. could soon be transformed into "Parlor Station," a beauty and wellness destination housing up to 15 small businesses under one historic roof.
